Stan Augustine

Instructor

Stan is an Adjunct Instructor for the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy Executive Masters of Health Administration program (EMHA). Stan is a Partner and Management Consultant for Hardesty Healthcare Solutions and previously served as the Chief Financial Officer for the House Ear Institute, Providence St. Joseph Health, Prudential Healthcare, and Kaiser Permanente Southern California Region.

Stan holds a PhD in Human and Organizational Systems with a focus on health equity research and has earned a MA in Organization Management and Development at Fielding Graduate University. Stan has an MBA from California State University-Long Beach and a BA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Stan is President-Elect for the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Southern California Chapter and serves on committees for the HFMA Western Region Symposium, the Health Care Executives of Southern California (HCE), and the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Southern California Chapter. Stan is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA), a Fellow of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, and also a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE).

Stan is an active member of the Academy of Management, the American Public Health Association, and the Rotary Club of Los Angeles.
